- The NeoMed ENFit Enteral Extension Set is indicated for use in neonatal and pediatric patients as an extension set for nasogastric/orogastric enteral feeding tubes.
- Standard bore extension sets have priming volumes of less than 2.0 mL.
- Straight or bifurcated configurations with standard, large, or extra-large bore sizes are available.
- The AND recommends that extension sets be changed every 4 hours.
- This should help minimize buildup and help mitigate bacterial colonization.
